About us

After passing away from Leukaemia in 2009, Ahmed Abbas's dreams lived on in his local Calgary community.

His legacy inspired the creation of The Ahmed Abbas Foundation, an organization determined to better our community.

 

In the past 13 years, The Ahmed Abbas Foundation has hosted over 2000 children in our annual weekend leadership camps in Kananaskis, donated jackets to countless homeless Calgarians during the winter, and fed over 1200 needy families in 10 countries.

That is Ahmed's legacy, and this is The Ahmed Abbas Foundation.
